The Associate of Science in Business degree provides a thorough introduction to the basic knowledge and skills required for success in the business world. Students develop the communication skills of business writing and speaking, receive basic introductions to the language and structures of business. This program is designed to serve highly motivated students seeking a degree in business.

The curriculum for the Business Administration builds a solid foundation covering all the functional areas of business such as accounting, management, marketing, and finance. This program provides all the standard prerequisites for continuation into the MBA program, while simultaneously providing students with a curriculum to prepare them for entry and promotion into a rapidly changing business and professional environment.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a Concentration in Management is designed for students who are interested in strengthening their capacity to effectively manage others. The curriculum provides students with a strong foundation of general business knowledge in traditional areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, economics, human resources, business law, and ethics. Additionally, the Management Concentration course sequence focuses on the development of a management skill set that is aligned with the demands of all three sectors: private, public, and not-for-profit. Concentration courses emphasize critical management topics such conflict resolution, negotiation, leadership, performance improvement, and innovation. Graduates will be prepared with a set of qualitative management skills aligned with the demands of the contemporary workplace.

The Ohio Dominican University MBA Program is designed to provide the knowledge and capabilities necessary for graduates to excel in a workplace increasingly marked by globalization, hyper-competition, increasing technological capability, and rapid change. Graduates will possess solid foundational skills, functional business knowledge, and the capacity to apply all that they have learned to real-world challenges, problems, and projects.
